Kyra Women’s Project is a registered York charity that exists to help local women make positive change in their lives. They offer a range of courses, therapies, life skills and events for women, all from a relaxed, comfortable, city centre location. Refugee Action York (RAY)  “works with refugees, asylum seekers and migrants from within and around the City of York.  We provide a safe meeting point where people can seek information and support, learn new skills and languages and form lasting friendships. York Environment Forum “is the voice for the environment in York, encompassing both the natural environment and the built environment. The Environment Forum has been operating for many years and is one of the outside bodies that the City of York Council works in partnership with.
