Lots of activities and support, including LEAP, an exciting project running until March 2022 – so if it looks useful for you, it’s worth contacting them soon to gain the most benefit.

LEAP: Are you a woman over 18 who is unemployed or economically inactive looking to take the first steps towards employment or further education/learning? If your answer is ‘yes’, then LEAP is for you!

As a LEAP learner, you will work one to one with the Project Mentor to create a bespoke pathway to reach your goals!

LEAP is a program funded the European Community Fund and the Education and Skills Funding Agency that encourages learners, who are unemployed or economically inactive, to take an active role in their own career development. Through social, creative and learning opportunities, with the aim that they will progress into employment or further education/learning, learners will be supported with one-to-one mentorship and guided learning to achieve their own personal goals.

To be able to take part in this program as a learner you must be: a woman over 18; a legal resident of the UK; unemployed or economically inactive.

To sign up or to have a chat about the program, please email the LEAP project mentor, Becky: BeckyL@kyra.org.uk . Becky will be able to discuss the project further and support you in deciding if this program is for you and answer any questions that you may have.
